fuelcellmaterials.com offers contact pastes for both the anode and cathode electrodes of SOFCs. To achieve quality results it is very important to have good contact between the electrode surface and the current collector. Applying a thin layer of ink (LSM or LSCF for the cathode and Nickel for the anode) over your electrode will help to ensure high quality reproducible results.
All cathode powders are available in screen printing ink form. Quantities range from 100 gram samples to 5 Kg lots and all quantities are typically delivered within one week. Use these inks as baseline cathodes for electrode or electrolyte research and development.
fuelcellmaterials.com also offers three different precious metal pastes to ensure the current collector is attached to the cell. All pastes should be used sparingly to ensure gas flow to the electrodes. Silver paste is best used at low temperatures while gold and platinum are best used for high temperature testing.
