Testing is an important part of keeping our industry safe. To that end, fuelcellmaterials is offering its 5 cm x 5 cm and 10 cm x 10 cm test fixture kits on closeout this month.
Both standard-size SOFC test fixtures kits fit both standard anode and electrolyte-supported cells. The 5 cm x 5 cm kit with 25 cm2 supports and 16 cm2 active areas, the 10 cm x 10 cm with 100 cm2 supports and 81 cm2 active areas. Each kit contains enough supplies to run five complete tests and all materials are also sold separately. The kits are available with or without the furnace option. The 10-cm version also has an option test stand for purchase separately.
With the help of renowned furnace companies and test stand vendors, fuelcellmaterials also offers specialized furnaces for use with the SOFC test fixtures as well. The furnace has a top-opening lid for in-furnace assembly of the test sample. An adjustable mechanical loading system is used to compress the system to the amount needed for the samples.
