Typical Use Guidelines
Typical testing ramp rate is more dependent on the cell rather than the seal, we recommend a heating rate of 1-2°C/minute.
These seals should not be reused. These seals become brittle after being at the typical SOFC test temperatures.
Seals can be cut into a desired shape with scissors, sharp knife, or laser cutter.
ALSL 321109 Alumina Slurry should be used with alumina felt seals to help make this seal gas tight. The slurry fills in the porosity within the alumina felt.
